Beautiful Disaster

A thousand fell again last week
and now we want a peek
The storm has left but hearts still bleed
for those who have been freed

Close your eyes before you see
the house, the car and the apple tree
The damage that has been done
nothing’s left, all is gone

I know what it feels to lose
Everything forever
In one day

Hold on
it will be allright
Hold on
it will be fine
Hold on
it will be allright
Hold on
it will be fine

The only thing that matters
when everything else shatters
Are the people that stay strong
hold hands and sing songs

The smiles on children’s faces
who have just lost their homes
Show me that there’s more to life
no need to pull a knife

I know what it feels to lose
Everything forever
In one day

Hold on
it will be allright
Hold on
it will be fine
Hold on
it will be allright
Hold on
it will be fine
