To My Fellow Victims

Cheekbones, collarbones, hipbones
Are the sex, didn’t you know?
Skinny and thin is how it goes
When your self-esteem is running low

Binging, purging, weighing
A part of your average day
Your soul and body are dying
Decaying slowly as they say

Hunger, lies and cold baths
Moving towards perfection
Go ahead and do the math
It spreads like an infection

Thinspiration, elevation, meditation
Hurting yourself on the way
Reaching the final destination
Your health you’re throwing away

Sweetie, do you feel the pressure?
Everything you are and do is wrong
Technically there is a cure
But hope is long gone

Now you’ve got
Your new friends
Ana and Mia
