Death By Chocolate

I’d like to tell a tale about a man who always seemed to have everything
But the only thing he actually had was a load of cash
So this is how I begin, I know I’m not that good but listen up anyway

There was this man who they called The Candyman because
He was into chocolate candies, you know the little colorful ones
Which sometimes make your teeth ache if you’ve had too many
He was also good at gambling and a master in poker you see
But his days were ended by those very same little chocolate things they call candy
They were his lucky charm but it seems his luck turned on him
And so he died a delightful and less painful death you may say
A death by chocolate

The CSI’s had some trouble finding out the real reason
First they were sure it had to do something with the waitress and the rookie
Who tried to beat The Candyman in the poker game of doom
Eye drops played an important part in the beginning
But as it turned out, eye drops were the least of his problem
Because the amount to poison a person is much bigger
In the end they found the real reason and no one was to blame
Or if someone, then the cocoa plantations in Africa
Africa is the biggest supplier of chocolate in the world
I bet you didn’t know that and neighter did I

But now we all know that even something as good as chocolate can kill you
The moral is not „don’t eat chocolate” or that you shouldn’t be greedy or play poker
There is no moral, to be frank and I think it’s for the best
I don’t know how to end this song, I can only try
I think maybe I too would like to die like he did
Death by chocolate
